A Florida Beach Vacation for All Ah, Florida. Known for its Spanish origins; its juicy, delicious oranges;
its warm, yet wet climate; and of course its Disney World. But one thing
is missing from this list. Hmmm, what could it be? Of, course! Among
all those other wonderful things that characterize Florida, the “Sunshine
State” is mot famous for its glorious miles of breath-taking beaches!
That is why millions of people across the country make their way to
the panhandle state to have a fun-filled Florida beach vacation. Family Vacation When some people think of beaches, they think of crashing waves and laughing children. Florida is packed with great beaches that can entertain the entire family. • Destin Beach. Destin Beach is located on what is known as Florida’s Emerald Coast. With crystal-clear water and white-sandy beaches, kids of all ages will love hanging out on the beach. Come and visit during the spring or autumn. It tends to be less crowded during those seasons. • Clearwater Beach. With an average temperature around 73 degrees, Clearwater Beach is a prime Florida beach vacation spot. Located in Clearwater, Florida this beach welcomes the family. Keep in mind that this is very popular beach area, so expect the crowds to be abundant. Check out the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce for some great family activities held in the area. Adventure and Water Sports Beaches are relaxing, but they are not just for laying out, right? There is more to do on a beach than just sit and let the time crawl by. You have shells to hunt, sandpipers to chase, and snorkeling, jet skiing, and surfboarding to experience! • Shell Island. You cannot stay on the island itself because Shell Island is uninhibited by people. However, it is worth the trip by boat from St. Andrews. This barrier island is secluded and unspoiled. It is known for its sand dunes, ecological wonders, and of course, its abundance of beautiful seashells. • Panama City Beach. Spring break and Panama City are basically synonymous. That is because there is so much adventure to be had here! You can enjoy activities such as, snorkeling, beach volleyball, windsurfing, parasailing, jet-skiing, and much more. Oh, The Night Life The daytime is not the only time that the Florida beaches are hot. Whether you are looking to dance, have a few drinks, or meet some new friends, Florida’s night scene cannot be beat. • South Beach. Celebrities do not frequent this beach for nothing. South Beach is a wonderland of sun, skin, and sin. If you are looking for the place to be seen on your Florida beach vacation, dress your best, because any of the South Beach dance clubs and bars are totally happening. • Miami Beach. Like rapper Will Smith sings in his song, “Miami,” “Party in the city where the heat is on. All night, on the beach till the break of dawn…” The bars, the clubs, the parties, and the palm trees—there is no beach like Miami Beach. If you are looking for an amazing night on the town, look no further than Miami Beach. Just bring your wallet. Romance and Relaxation Where to begin? Florida’s beaches are a haven for those looking for a little R&R—romance and relaxation. • Sanibel Island. Look for shells, walk the sandy white beaches, watch the gorgeous sunsets, and observe the wildlife—all with the person you love. Sanibel Island is a couples’ paradise with the average temperature about 75 degrees of perfection. • Amelia Island. Thirteen miles of soft, white-sand beaches draw the couples to Amelia Island every year. Whether you stay in an adorable bed and breakfast, or a luxurious beach club, romance awaits you and your loved one. Here is a great romantic idea while vacationing on Amelia Island: propose to your sweetie while trotting horseback on the beach. Still can’t decide which beach is the right one for you? No problem.
