Say Aloha to a Hawaii Beach Vacation
Aloha. When one thinks of the ultimate beach vacation, many times Hawaii
comes to mind. And with good reason. Hawaii is absolutely stunning.
From its fresh-flower, island scent to its sulfur-spewing volcanoes,
a Hawaii beach vacation is like no other in the world. But if you are
unfamiliar with Hawaii, how do you know which island beaches to visit?
Well, here is a “how-to” guide to help you figure out which
Hawaiian island is best for you.
Maui
Imagine temperature ranging from 70 to 80 degrees year-round, 30 miles
of beautiful beaches with crystal-clear water, and humpback whale-watching
during the winter months. This describes the beautiful island of Maui.
The second largest populated island of Hawaii is home to Haleakala,
the largest dormant volcano in the world.
Maui is a great family vacation spot. Due to its comparatively small
size, daytrips are doable. This avoids the boredom that comes with youth.
You can visit an exciting volcano site, then spend hours relaxing on
the beach—all in one day—if you choose this island for your
Hawaii beach vacation.
Kauai
Kauai is the oldest and fourth largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It is
home to Mount Wai’ale’ale, known as the wettest place on
Earth. If you are looking to see beautiful landscape on your Hawaii
beach vacation, this is the place. On the north shore of the island,
visit the Na Pali Coast, which boasts cliffs over 4,000 feet high. In
west Kauai, observe the lush rainforests or the sandy beaches. And,
in the South Shore, you’ll find Spouting Horn—a natural
lava tube formation. Breath-taking waterfalls, sweet-smelling flowers,
and so much more are waiting for you to enjoy in Kauai.
Lanai
The smallest of the populated Hawaiian Islands, Lanai is well known
for its outstanding golf courses and is celebrated for its pineapple
industry. But there are plenty of other things to do on “Hawaii’s
Most Exclusive Island” besides play golf and eat pineapples. Visitors
enjoy Hawaiian landmarks such as the 80-feet tall, Puu Pehe, otherwise
known as “Sweetheart Rock.” Various spots in Lanai also
have primitive drawings of people and animals that have been carved
into old lava flows and rocks. These intriguing drawings are called
petroglyphs. The wonderful thing about these petroglyphs is that no
one, including, archeologists know where they came from or what they
mean. Maybe you could figure out the mystery of the petroglyphs!
Molokai
Unlike many other Hawaiian beach vacation spots, Molokai is not fancy
or flashy. Some people think of it as the most sincere island of Hawaii
because it is not a built up. There are no high-rises, no shopping malls,
and well, not many tourists. So, if you are looking for a relaxing,
no-frills Hawaii beach vacation, this is the spot. Visit the rainforests,
and chat with the many native Hawaiians. They say it is like a step
back in time.
Big Island
They don’t call it the Big Island for nothing. Hawaii’s
Big Island covers 4,028 square miles. That’s a lot of miles! So
many in fact, that the Big Island is twice the size of the major islands
put together. The major attractions of this enormous Hawaiian island
are the volcanoes. Covered in tropical flowers, the Big Island is as
beautiful a paradise as one gets.
Oahu
Three quarters of Hawaii’s population lives in Oahu. The third
largest of the islands of Hawaii, this is the island where the famous
cities of Honolulu, Waikiki, and Pearl Harbor are located. Honolulu,
Hawaii’s capitol city, is a multicultural melting pot. It has
a beautiful landscape, gorgeous waters, interesting museums, plenty
of shopping areas, fine dining, and clubs to dance the night away. Many
people stay in Honolulu while they are vacationing and visit some of
the other islands on day trips. Discover why most travelers make their
Hawaiian beach vacation Oauhu.
Believe the hype. Hawaii is a beautiful as you have heard. So if you

Aloha.
